Product Introduction Tafnat Tablet is used to treat HIV infection and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV). They work by preventing the virus from multiplying in human cells. This stops the virus from producing more viruses and clears your infection. Tafnat Tablets should be used for the dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Do not skip appointments and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Take these with food as this increases the absorption of the medicine into the body. It is important to continue taking them until your doctor tells you it is safe to stop taking them. Common side effects of this medicine include headache, diarrhoea, nausea, joint pain, abdominal pain and upset stomach. Please consult your doctor if they persist for a longer time. They are usually not serious but let your doctor know if they bother you or do not go away. In rare cases, some people may experience skin reactions or liver damage. Your doctor will monitor you closely during the initial phase of treatment.
